Hybrid Earth Series
In 2023, remnants of a destroyed meteor strike Earth and the Mithra virus forever changed the face of humanity. It traveled quickly through water supplies and people, killing the infected within 48 hours. In weeks, only five percent of the planet’s human population remained. Fights over resources and power plays reduced the remaining population by half. Then the hybrids were born.
Humans who survived the Mithra virus produced either human, or human with powers offspring. Frightened ‘normal’ humans raged war on anyone different in a desperate attempt to remain in power. People who had been at war with each other banded together to rid themselves of these hybrids. The population suffered again. Even normal humans who parented the offending offspring were subjected to kill squads.
It is now 2154. Hybrids are still trying to live, and humans are still trying to kill them.

Tazzy is a t'elf thief striving to save up enough to travel to a sanctuary for her kind. Kirby is a hunter trying to save up enough to surgically hide his shortcomings.
